Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Minsk. Sergey (d.2019) played ice hockey. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. Her career has seen her had 12 WTA singles titles including a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Also, she is a great doubles player. She has won two other Majors in this area, including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. She also achieved the Sunshine Double in 2019, taking the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open along with Elise and Mertens. Four couples only managed to make it happen in women's doubles. World singles rankings rose yet again, reaching its top position in January 2023. As a doubles player, she was able to propel her way to the top in February of the same year after the victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player from Belarus to be a part of this particular area. She was trained by an ex- Russian tennis star Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the close of the 2019 season and in part at the beginning of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann also served as her coach for short periods during the months of August through September 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she has been coached by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams is her role model, followed by Maria Sharapova.
